Thomas Munro is a member of EnterpriseDB's database server team. He works on PostgreSQL and related technology from his base in Wellington, New Zealand.
His contributions to PostgreSQL so far include Parallel Hash, SKIP LOCKED, remote_apply, replay_lag, and parts of trigger transition tables and a shared memory allocator. He recently became a PostgreSQL committer. Before becoming a free-range open source database hacker, he worked on proprietary C++, Unix, database and network projects in the finance and software industries for many years. Other open sources interests include FreeBSD.
